GONDWANA - Our Private Natural Park

Gondwana is a unique natural area discovered in 1998, home to endemic plants, fascinating wildlife, and our very own Tsingys.

In 1998, Swiss botanists asked our agency, KING DE LA PISTE, to search for an area similar to Ankarana where they could collect plants and seeds. Our search led us to this remarkable and previously little-known area, where we discovered two plant species that were unknown to us at the time.

We quickly realized how special and valuable this natural environment was. Rather than simply developing the area, we decided to protect it and make it accessible to visitors while preserving its unique ecosystem. We built our lodge around this natural environment so that we could help protect it for generations to come.

Today, our trails allow visitors to discover the area's unique landscapes, endemic plants, fascinating wildlife, and our Tsingys - a truly special part of Madagascar that few people have had the chance to experience.
